Nominator's project description
| Professor Sawamoto is a world-leading chemist, recognized across disciplines for several major scientific breakthrough achievements in polymer science. Most importantly, his groundbreaking contributions in polymer chemistry, namely living cationic polymerization and living radical polymerization, have changed the landscape of synthetic polymer chemistry significantly. During his stay in Germany, he intends to develop fundamental strategies and protocols for the precision synthesis of sequence-controlled polymers and macromolecules. |
